Twenty-Three Sisters and a Fool by  Norman Jope

Twenty-Three Sisters and a Fool is a sequence of short poems, written in 2023. Each of the sections, and 'sisters', corresponds to one of the twenty-three districts of Budapest - some of which are better-known than others to the author, but all of which have been visited or passed through at least once. The aim is to treat each district on an equal footing, in contrast to a predictable emphasis upon the more heavily-visited areas of the city and their tourist trails.
